growth through transition

Daniel (Danny) Magallanes attended Taylor University and was on a path to create his legacy after his sister Maribel Magallanes. When thinking about his college choices, Daniel described his biggest obstacle as himself.

Coming through Pursue Scholars Act Six scholarship program, Daniel describes the support as "The biggest [support] was if there was help needed then it was there, but if it wasn't needed then it was no pressure to use the support. [Pursue] will send care packages, which is a nice reminder that you are a part of something bigger and also remind you to be a bit grateful. The leadership development and encouragement to just to have people to be rooting for you was nice," said Magallanes.
